Proper Dress started from an idea. My husband and I worked for a large retailer. We
worked for this retailer for many years, so we knew what to wear in our work environment. However, one day, Bob received a
company wide memo requesting him to attend a road show featuring many vendors and other store's associates. At the bottom
of the memo were the words:
PROPER DRESS REQUIRED
Well, in order to stress that point even more, Bob had some polo shirts made with the words
PROPER DRESS embroidered on the left chest. It was a big success among the retailers as well as the vendors.
That being said, we decided to trademark the words PROPER DRESS and carry a line of apparel, and accessories
so that
no mater what the occasion,
no
matter what your style,
no matter where your road takes you...
YOU CAN ALWAYS BE IN PROPER DRESS.
